VERY LOW MILES & FULLY LOADED: SPORT EXHAUST * PASM * SPORT SEATS * NAV * BOSE
* NEW CLUTCH AND NEW TIRES*
I am selling my highly-optioned 6-speed 2008 Porsche 911 Targa 4S with only 38, 000 original miles. 6 cylinder, 3.8L
355hp with Sport Exhaust, PASM, PSE, Sport Seats, 19” painted metallic wheels, Navigation, Bose sound and other
custom factory interior options (see build sheet pic for more).
This car had a $112, 000 MSRP and I am convinced these last of the water-cooled era are now becoming collectors
item, especially the big bad 4S wide bodies and the even more unique Targas. I would keep it but growing family
forces sale.
This loaded car is a head turner and a blast to drive; the sport exhaust is menacing and the large rear trunk makes
it more practical than your ordinary 911. The unique retracting glass roof means you can have all the pleasure of
open-top motoring with the security and sexy-lines of a coupe.
Non smoker and always garaged… inside has that great Porsche leather smell. This car began its life at Manhattan
Motor Cars/Porsche of Greenwich before moving to CA where it was serviced at Beverly Hills Porsche. I am the 3rd
owner and all my maintenance has been done by Porsche of Austin.
The car is in fantastic condition and has been properly maintained at no expense spared, with limited but tasteful
mods. Porsche of Austin recently replaced the clutch and flywheel for me with OEM parts and installed 4 new Pirelli
tires (all within the last 1k miles, buyer will have receipts and warranty). It shifts like new and is a blast on
the highway or country roads. For improved visibility, the rear tail lights have been upgraded to LED, as have all
the interior lights.
I have 2 sets of keys and will include the genuine Porsche rubber floormats, as well as the original Porsche floor
carpets and original rear taillights.
Zero mechanical issues, all preventive maintenance done and ready to go. She growls at the turn of a key.
The only imperfections I can think of are - trying to be as honest as possible but please study the pics:
1) Slight scuffing on the rear of the sport seats from previous owner in 2 spots, probably from loading golf clubs
(you can fit 2 sets in the back). These could be touched up easily but I never use the rear seats so never see
them.
2) Its only visible at close inspections but some of the wheels have spots where the paint is wearing thin near the
center caps. Im not sure if its from changing the wheels or just wear as it was like it when I got the car, but
they would look good touched up and perfect with a repaint. There is no curbing or damage to the actual wheels at
all.
2) The radio initially shows a brief warning about the CD player not being connected at startup, but it works fine
so I never bothered to have it fixed. The NAV works great.
Please let me know if you have questions. I have a video of the car running and a walk-around that I would be happy
to share.
